Teams of 5 will cook a free barbecue at Boundary Cafe, West End as an opportunity to catch up with supporters and staff over lunch in a communal setting. The Hive program supports individuals with In-Home Supports and Community Connections to maintain or regain their independence so they can continue to live safely in their home and actively participate in their communities. Volunteering Qld will order the groceries for a burger bbq - your team will cook it and then eat with the guests.

Either from your office or onsite at Queensland Council for LGBTIQ+. you will be helping put together free, safe sex packs to people at risk of HIV and STIs, organisations and health services in Qld. Starting with an introduction to the organisation and how it supports the LGBTIQ+ community you will work as a team to put together packs finishing the day sharing lunch from Blackout Cafe a First Nations catering company.

In this corporate volunteering experience you will be given a list of names and brief background/interests etc. of residents from Infinite Aged Care Facility. From the comfort of your own office you, or from ours, your team will be sent stationery, refreshments and a postage paid satchel to return your letters with opportunity for seniors to write back.

Escape the office and take a drive through picturesque Anstead in Brisbane's Western suburbs. This volunteering experience starts with an education session about the important work that is done to care for the parkland and open eucalypt forest and how your support in the guided weeding will contribute to the sustainability of the land including endangered species. Join the team as they grow food for those in need. Produce grown from their charity beds will go directly to charities at no charge. The experienced farmers use regenerative organic agriculture practices. So the food they grow is more nutritious and improves the soil. Duties include: On the field, weeding, cleaning, planting, harvesting, making compost (depending on the needs that day).
