About this opportunity

Please note: This activity is designed for a team with a minimum of 2 and a maximum of 5 members - available the first Friday of every month.

Homelessness sits at the nexus of stigma, isolation and vulnerability. It can often be highly visible to passersby reinforcing their ‘outsider’ status through negative attention.

HOW CAN YOUR TEAM MAKE A DIFFERENCE?

Your teams BBQ will play a crucial role in community social inclusion. Breaking down stigma, creating a sense of belonging, importance and acceptance to the more valuable members of our community.

During this corporate volunteering opportunity, the team will be responsible for prepping, cooking and serving the BBQ, along with some connecting conversations with the program supporters and staff over lunch.
