About this opportunity

Please note: This activity is designed for a team with a minimum of 2 and a maximum of 5 members - available the first Friday of every month.

LGBTIQ+ Health Australia, provides health-related programs, services and research focused on lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, intersex and queer people and other sexuality, gender and bodily diverse (LGBTIQ+) people and communities.

HOW CAN YOUR TEAM MAKE A DIFFERENCE?

During this corporate volunteering opportunity, conducted either from your office or onsite at Queensland Council for LGBTIQ+. your team will be helping put together free, safe sex packs to people at risk of HIV and STIs and health services throughout Qld.

Starting with an introduction to the organisation and how it supports the LGBTIQ+ community and finishing with morning /afternoon tea.

  • Requirements

    PLEASE BRING:
    - Reusable Water Bottle

    PLEASE WEAR:
    - Comfortable closed in shoes
    - Sun hat on warm days

    TRANSPORT:
    - Transport will be provided upon request.
    - Those who wish to make their own way to the location, parking information will be given closer to the event day.

    TERMS OF PARTICIPATION:
    Your safety is our priority. By registering for a team volunteering day, you acknowledge that if you are feeling unwell, you will notify your Team Lead and stay at home.

    You will be required to read a Job Hazard Analysis prior to the team day. This will be sent to your team lead to share with you by Volunteering Queensland.
